Standard Ammo is a Mega Press recipe in the current dataset, not a gunpowder line. This page uses that recipe: what it consumes, which machine crafts it, and which older chain to ignore.
Current recipe
The listed Standard Ammo recipe runs on the Mega Press:
- Inputs: 18 Basic Building Material + 4 Wolfram Powder
- Output: 20 Standard Ammo
- Rate: 200 per minute
- Cycle: 6 seconds
Wolfram Powder is a Furnace recipe: 1 Wolfram Bar makes 3 powder at 90 per minute. Basic Building Material is the Fabricator recipe from Titanium Ore and Wolfram Ore.

Do not plan a Refinery, Sulfur Extractor, or Assembler just to make Standard Ammo. Those machines belong to other chains. Older pages that route ammo through gunpowder and sulfuric acid do not match this recipe table.
How to size the line
- Pick the ammo rate you want.
- Open the Production Calculator on Standard Ammo.
- Check that Wolfram Powder and Basic Building Material can keep up with 4 powder and 18 building material per craft.
- Budget 30 MW for each Mega Press before adding the Furnace and Fabricator power.
