Update 2 Live Baseline

StarRupture Planner

StarRupture planner, build planner, production planner, base planner, and factory layout routes in one place. Start with the visual factory planner, then branch into Base Core, blueprint, and map paths that match your current bottleneck.

Update 2 is live, with 0.3.5 as the latest checked hotfix. Read the Update 2 status. Calculator recipes stay on the last verified dataset, map routes are community-mapped, and expensive progression claims should still be cross-checked on your save.

Start Here by Goal

Planner, map, blueprint, machine, and corporation routes belong together. Pick the answer path that matches the blocker in your current run instead of browsing everything at once.

Need a build planner or production planner?
Start in the planner when the problem is throughput, machine count, factory ratios, or MW power scaling.
Need a base planner or Base Core layout?
Use the Base Core path when the real blocker is starter base placement, expansion radius, or safe rail corridors around your core.
Need blueprint routes?
Separate world-found routes from corporation-gated unlocks before you leave base.
Need machine unlocks?
Check Fabricator, Furnace, Mega Press, and power draw before you overbuild the wrong line.
Need corporation progression?
Use the calculator when the real blocker is reputation order, terminal gates, or delivery bundles.

Planner Search Paths

Current planner SERPs still split between direct tool intent and layout advice. Use the path below that matches your question instead of forcing the wrong page type to do everything.

Build Planner / Production Planner
Best when you already know the target output and want machine count, production ratios, MW draw, and a shareable factory graph.
Base Planner / Base Core Layout
Use this split-intent path when the real question is where to place the Base Core, how much expansion room you have, or which route is safest to build around.
Factory Layout / Expansion Route
Use the layout guides when you are deciding between ring zones, main-bus corridors, and rebuild-safe expansion patterns for a live base.

Build a Factory Plan Visually

This is the main tool path for build planner and production planner intent. Start with your target output, let the planner map the full chain, and then use the rest of the homepage to branch into calculators, guides, and supporting reference pages.

Initializing production planner...

What is the StarRupture Planner?

The StarRupture Planner is a free visual production chain designer built specifically for StarRupture players. Unlike simple calculators, this planner uses an interactive node graph to show how machines connect in your factory.

Each node represents a production step - from ore excavators mining resources to fabricators crafting components. The planner automatically calculates how many machines you need and the total power consumption.

Whether you're planning your first StarRupture factory or optimizing a massive production complex, this planner saves hours of manual calculation. Just select your target item, set the production rate, and let the planner generate the complete factory layout.

How to Use the StarRupture Planner

1

Select Target Item

Choose which StarRupture item you want to produce from the dropdown menu.

2

Set Production Rate

Enter your desired items per minute (IPM) for accurate machine calculations.

3

Generate Chain

Click "Generate Chain" to create a visual node graph of your production line.

4

Analyze & Share

Review power and machine counts, then share your plan with a shareable URL.

Current recipe table

StarRupture rates to plan from

These figures come from the current machine and recipe records. Node purity changes excavator output, so read the live tooltip before you lock a machine count.

Ore node purityExtraction
60
Impure
240
Pure

Ore Excavator is 5 MW at Training Level 2. The current wiki note lists 60, 120, or 240 per minute for impure, normal, and pure nodes.

Smelter barsProcessing

60
Bars / min

Titanium Bar and Wolfram Bar each consume 2 ore and produce 2 bars at 60 per minute. Count smelters from the live node output.

Wolfram Powder is a Furnace recipe

The current table makes Wolfram Powder in a Furnace: 1 Wolfram Bar becomes 3 powder at 90 per minute. It is not a Crusher recipe.
