Creepy Jar's Developer Blog: June 2026 offers the first public look at several changes planned for Update 2. The announcement said the material was work-in-progress. Update 2 later shipped on 2026-09-02. This page stays a preview record. The current status is on the Update 2 live page.
Status: preview only
This June note was a work-in-progress preview. Update 2 shipped on 2026-09-02. The preview itself is not a confirmed recipe, machine rate, power value, unlock, or corporation reward.
What the Official Blog Shows
Copy a building with its parameters
The preview shows copying a building together with its configured parameters.
Copy and paste parameters across buildings
The team also showed parameter transfer between buildings as a separate workflow.
Drone Roundabout overhaul
Drone Roundabouts are named as an area receiving an overhaul.
Multi-deconstruct
The blog previews selecting more than one building for deconstruction.
Deconstruct buildings without platforms
The preview shows a planned option to remove buildings that are not on platforms.
Crafting information in items per minute
The planned crafting display uses items-per-minute information.
What It Means for Current Plans
The preview points toward faster building iteration and clearer throughput feedback, but it does not establish any new live factory values. Continue using the Production Calculator and Machine Database for the current Update 1 baseline. We update those tools only when a live build and a direct source support the fact.
Why the Boundary Matters
A development preview can be useful for planning your playstyle, especially if you build large factories or rely on Drone Rails. It cannot reliably answer whether a future building has a given cost, output, recipe, power draw, or unlock route. Keeping preview information separate protects existing plans from false precision while still making the announcement easy to find.
